A little handwoven bowl inspired by the flowers that bloom as winter draws to a close.
Premium hand-dyed Madagascan raffia in neutral, green, pink and mustard, with a gold thread embellishment.
Approx 11cm diametre, 2.5cm high
You will receive the bowl pictured. Please note this is a hand-made item; imperfections are natural and part of the charm!
Maker’s note: I am not an Indigenous person and this is not a piece of Aboriginal art. I have deep respect for our First Nations people and their cultural traditions – always was, always will be. While examples of the coiled basketry technique can be found on nearly every continent, I do not wish for my work to in any way step on the toes of Indigenous creators. My work is inspired by my personal connection with Nature and my love of thrifting and upcycling. I am happy to connect you with Indigenous makers if you are pursuing Indigenous art.
