Our Aurora Pendant was designed to celebrate the power of the Sun. As a young adult I loved sitting out in the sunshine relaxing to music and it always filled me with so much joy and energy, I just had to design this little piece!

This stainless steel pendant measures 18 x 16mm and is finished with a dainty 50cm long sterling silver chain and findings.

Operating from a quaint little home studio, Kira and Eve is a small sustainable and eco conscious jewellery label founded by local artist Katie Regan. Having always been a keen artist, I was encouraged to become a graphic designer where I was hired initially by a similar business to design jewellery ranges and graphics for their small business. Unfortunately, this business closed its doors and I missed it dearly for many years. Often I would look at organic shapes and think to myself “that would look stunning as a pendant and/ or pair of earrings” –and so after a lot of encouragement by my family and friends, Kira and Eve was born.
My focus within this label is to keep the manufacturing of each piece on shore and to provide sustainable products at a reasonable price to ensure that we can all take steps in the right direction for our beautiful planet – and to look good at the same time of course!

Behind Our Name: Kira and Eve is a very special business name to me as its is derived from my family dogs names – Kirra and Evie. Both of these dogs have brought so much love and happiness into mine and my families lives that the name only seemed fitting. I anticipate to pass that same love through each piece I design, create and package.

Packaging: Because Kira and Eve is a sustainable label, I am constantly trying to provide more eco friendly packaging solutions. At the moment I am hand making all packaging – which allows me to create only what I need. All boxes are cut from recycled card, scored and assembled within the studio. I print most of the promotional / packaging items myself to ensure I am only making what I need – thus making our footprint smaller.

Our Values: All of our pieces are designed and made right here in Australia. The highest quality findings have been selected to ensure that your pieces will stand the test of time – of which are sourced through Australian businesses – supporting local wherever we can. Through careful selection I have chosen packaging and office supplies that are kinder to our environment, which is a core value here at Kira and Eve.
