Snafu Design is a Melbourne-based jewellery and accessories label specialising in handcrafted laser-cut earrings, brooches and jewellery organisers; handmade fabric clutches and colourful t-shirts. A dynamic sister-duo, Snafu have been creating their distinct and vibrant designs since 2013. Both mothers to small children, and with backgrounds in fashion, craft and jewellery design, the Snafu sisters began their business as a way to spend time together creatively and to harness their creative energy.

Snafu’s inspiration comes from their urban surroundings living in inner-city Melbourne, the natural beauty of their childhood home on the far north coast of New South Wales, and their Japanese heritage. Their extensive range of acrylic laser-cut earrings make bold use of shape and colour, while Snafu’s clutches feature bright patterns on natural fibres such as Japanese-sourced cottons and linens. All of their products are, from the initial design stage to the final photographed image, lovingly made in their studio in Brunswick. Their forever-evolving range brings a striking blast of colour and pattern to the everyday.
