My imagination is always exploring the possibilities of creating different creations. 15 years ago my first hobby was Pottery. yes I can do the wheel however I wanted to design figures. This lead me to displaying my pieces at the Royal Easter Show and winning ribbons and selling my pieces. I traveled overseas learning different clay effects. When returning and where i lived there was no kiln. I decided time to start a new hobby. Everyone at the time was doing Painting by numbers. I thought already I will give this ago. Having a creative mind stand procedure boredom set in and wanting to do my own. I started to paint my own pieces, which lead me into creating my own pieces and having fun putting them together with different materials. I went through the stages of spending time and not liking what I saw and went back to the process and thinking what could I have done differently. My advice is to anyone in the craft creating process, do not rush the process, if you have to design what you are making, obtain a scrapbook. Work out your materials you will need, how much will you need, shop around to obtain the materials. Create. This is your piece do not allow others stop you creating as it's not their style. It may be someone else. If you have some words of wisdom for new beginners feel free to post them in our Facebook page. Can you even post your creations step by step photos sharing to others how you did it.
